Even if you have never danced before, by the end of the lesson you will be on the dance floor having fun! The class will introduce you to the basic footwork and the ability to lead or follow. By the end of the class you will know the basic triple step footwork, as well as some fundamental turns and moves which you can build on in one of the more advanced classes offered throughout the year or private lessons.

Weekly Classes
The next set of series classes taught by Flyin’ Footwork Productions are now set and registration is open! The classes offered in this set at the 2:30pm time slot is three weeks of Shim Sham (taught by Anna and Shelley), then three weeks of Charleston 2 (not open for registration just yet). In the 4pm time slot it’s their most popular class, Lindy Hop.
Both classes are perfect for someone just starting out with no dance experience as each series starts with the basic footwork. Each week is progressive meaning the material is based on the previous week. However, not everyone’s schedule is the same so if you need to miss a class, just let Rob and Dawn know and plan to come about 15 min. early to the next class and one of them will go over the missed material with you one on one to get you caught up.
Don’t have a partner? No biggie! You do not need a partner for either class as almost 50% of the series are made up of people with no partners. Don’t miss this chance to learn these two historical and unique partner dances from the 20′s and 40′s! Click on the class links to get more information (price, location, times, etc) and/or register for the series on the website.
