Don’t forget there is a 5th Saturday in July. That means there is an extra week between dances. The next dance will be on Saturday, August 13th.
Speaking of… the next dance will be featuring Orlando’s favorite big band, The New Traditions Jazz Ensemble! Come out and dance to the big sound of a full size swing orchestra. Their energetic rhythms will get your toes tapping and move you to cut a rug on the smooth hard wood floor.
Last month, the big band played to a full house! Don’t miss out on a great night of dancing!

Saturday, July 23rd: College Students get in half off!!! That’s right, just bring your college photo ID and receive half off the admission to the dance!
So, grab your friends and come out and experience the BIG SOUND of Orlando’s newest swing band, “The Little Big Band”!While the name is new, the faces behind the name are tried and true musicians that have proven experience playing for dancers. This nine piece band has a big sound that can fill a room and get your feet moving! They are experienced swing and jazz musicians who are coming together in an all new format!
Show your colors! Even if your aren’t currently in collage, wear your colors to support your favorite college team! Maybe it’s your alma mater, hometown team, or whatever. Gotta have a valid ID for the discount, but for fun, dress in your best college team paraphernalia and show your support!
Don’t know how to dance? No problem! The night kicks off at 7pm with a beginner swing dance lesson that will get you up to speed and out on the dance floor having fun! The band takes stage at 8pm and plays till 11. All ages are welcome and admission is $12 ($6 for college students!).

Saturday, July 9th: Walk back in time to a 1940′s era USO style swing dance complete with live music by a full size swing orchestra! The New Traditions Jazz Ensemble big band has hand picked a special set of music for the evening to hearken back to the WW2 era. This high energy band is a favorite among local dancers! Hit the hardwood and swing out to the very best music from the golden era of swing. From slow tempos to fast, there is something for everyone! Vintage dress is encouraged, but not required. All ages are welcome!
Start spreading the word and look through the closet for that special vintage outfit. Invite out the friends and family. As always, the night kicks off with a beginner swing dance lesson (included with admission).
